In addition to Times Table Rock Stars, this week Class 3 are thrilled to also be given access to a new resource called Abacus, (part of ActiveLearn) which can be used at school and at home to practise maths skills.
Children have been given instructions as to how they can log in to their account, but here is a quick reminder:
1. Go to www.activelearnprimary.co.uk
2. Log in with your username and password. Our school code is kcgk.
3. Check out My Stuff to begin earning coins.
My Stuff is where the games Miss West wants you to play as homework will be shown. You can spend the coins you earn for playing on anything you want on the site.
Miss West will remind you when new games are added, but you can check in as often as you wish. Have fun!

We are very excited to announce the launch of Times Tables Rock Stars, an exciting new way to practise multiplication and division facts.
Children have been given details on how to log in to ttrockstars.com and design their avatar. Coins can be earned by practising in the Garage and spent on giving their avatars a fabulous new look. Each week, a leaderboard will be published showing who has earned the most coins through practising hard.
Look out for competitions taking part in the arenas- where you can battle your classmates- and keep an eye on our ranking compared to other local schools.
As part of our topic, Class 3 designed, made and taste-tested space-themed chocolate treats. Can you tell by our expressions how yummy they were?
