Class 3 Gedney Drove End 

Hi, my name is Ethan. I’m going to tell you about my year 4 homework and my time in class 3 so far.

Miss West gives out homework assignments on a Friday, normally in the afternoon. We normally get three pieces of homework – spellings, maths and English. I don’t really like homework, but my Mum makes me do it. She will normally help me if I get stuck. I don’t like it as some bits are hard and others really hard. I find maths the hardest as the adding and fractions are quite confusing, confusing as the shapes are weird. Some fractions look like a radiation sign. We hand our homework in on the following Friday and do our spellings in that day too.

We go swimming once a fortnight, on a Monday. Normally the whole school goes, but at the moment only classes 2 and 3 go. When we go swimming, a Cropley coach always picks us up and takes us to Spalding where the pool is. The lady at the swimming pool who teaches us is half mad, half nice and she shouts a lot. The best bit about swimming is the coach ride there and back.

My best friends are Lewie, Jack R, Jack A and Harrison. All these friends are in my class except Harrison who is in class 2 but I see him at play time.

I joined class 3 in September. I kind of like class 3. I like Miss West but I don’t like her angry face as when someone does something wrong, I think (whoever that is), they’re busted. I’m glad it’s not me. You get posh pens in class 3. I love that a lot.

Our next school trip is to a snow centre on 24th November 2015. We will go at 7.30 in the morning, so it will be an early start. I think it’s going to be a great trip. We are going to do skiing, snowboarding and sledging. I’m looking forward to all of it. It sounds AWESOME.
